Ever since they had the dexterity to hold a pencil, Lex has had a constant “itch” in their hands that compelled them to create. Naturally, this caused them to frequently get into trouble for doodling in the margins of their notebooks. In middle school, their friends would trade original comics amongst one another, beginning a lifelong love affair with sequential arts and the fan culture that surrounds it. They always loved creating fictional worlds to get lost in and designing original characters.

They graduated from Converse University with a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art in 2018, and since then have worked in a myriad of fields, ranging from custom framing to nonprofit work. Their highest aim is to create impactful stories, engaging characters, and expansive worlds that inspire. Most importantly, they want to create the stories that they needed themselves when they were young, and for those like them.

 

They spend their time exploring local hiking trails and being held hostage by their scheming tuxedo cat, Muffin.
